In my first attempt to post pictures, I posted one picture of my new HQ flight cage in the gallery. (Link below.) I attempted to keep the cage furniture "natural" as possible. (My dad made the perches.) As a prominent feature in my living room, I think it looks pretty darn snazzy.

I will get some better pictures of the actual birds soon. I just wanted to make sure this went ok before getting too picture happy.

My nice base is actually the china buffet I stole from the dining room... Lol. Thank goodness I have an understanding husband. The cage came with a base, but I liked hiding my mess from the toddler. (She likes helping me clean the bird cage, which means she sprinkles walnut bedding all over the floor. Good times!)

Very nice! Looks great with the small potted plants. Are they real? And the natural perches look great too. They are very happy finches in that nice size cage I'm sure!

Very nice piece of living furniture with finches in it.

That HQ cage certainly looks nice with a furniture base! Lots better than mine with the open stand--always good when you can put all the junk behind closed doors.

Love the cage setup....it looks so nice sitting on the dresser! You picked a good color too...it will be easier to see the birds with the neutral color. I have a white HQ....it is nice but harder to see the birds through.
