We got our first baby(ies)? Now what do I do?

We just had our first zebra finch baby or babies (i can't tell in the nest yet)

What do we do now?

Congrats - Sit back and relax now!

The parents will look after the babies just fine. Aside from their daily seed diet, you should be providing the parents with some fresh, mashed hardboiled egg (with shell) every morning (if you haven't already been). Hope you can post some pics soon.

I too had one Zebra finch hatch early yesterday - the papa would not get off / out of the nest this morning so I do not know whether any more have hatched.

Zebras make excellent parents so like Liz said....just sit back and enjoy
