New Shaft-tails

Post by summert85 » Thu Apr 30, 2009 7:50 pm

My new pair of Shaft-tails. They're beautiful, aren't they? Pick them up yesterday from a breeder. Male in Yellow band, Female in pink band.

Congrats! They are fun and cute little birds. I love the way they bob up and down when they land on a perch.

Beside their beauty, one thing I love is the male's song. It is so pretty, so smooth and just lovely. :D :D

Those are some of the prettiest shaft tails I have seen. Looks like that breeder knew what they were doing. Hopefully they will have beautiful babies in the future :D

I kept a colony of 14 to 20 for years....I miss them terribly, but they all had to go as my house has to be sold :( (Damned recession) One day I'll replace them.
