If it's the hen in your hand, it looks more like a red head.

sorry for my ignroance.... but even though its head is CLEARLY visually orange, you say its a red head cause it had a red tip?

Clearly i need to do some more reading on gouldian colors. So if it was orange head, would it have an orange tip beak?

Darn it! I meant to take a picture of my YH, WB, YB hen to show the difference, but they are in bed.

It might be the lighting when the picture was taken or my monitor, but the picture doesn't look orange to me.

All yellow headed gouldians have an orange tipped beak except for a blue backed yellow head. Their beaks are white.
