Birdie Brownies

1 cup cornmeal
1 cup millet or other favorite seed
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 TB raw wheat germ
1 tsp. finely ground cuttlebone
2 whole eggs
4 egg yolks
2 tsp. "The Missing Link" avian formula
2 TB honey

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Pat into a greased baking dish. Bake for 30 min. or until firm. (if edges start to get too brown, cover with foil)

Cool and cut into small squares.

I store the "bars" in a ziplock bag in the freezer and thaw as needed in the fridge. All my birds LOVE them!. I find that I have to crumble them up into small pieces in their food dish.

I have made birdie bread for my birds and they really like that.

Your recipe looks very interesting...I will have to try it and see how they like this variation. Thanks for sharing it! :D
