I do see the last pic now - thanks... but now the first two have disappeared. Only the red 'x" now. That's okay - I saw them before but others who have not seen them may want to. Maybe it's my computer...?

I'm so glad he's surviving so far. Amazing!

It's showing up for me but may just be a glitch. I will switch them over to Photobucket and perhaps it will be more consistent

maybe try a bit of rum might perk the little guy up a bit
it always works for me, after suffering through 8 hours at work each day a couple of rums when I get home and woork is forgotten

What a miracle that he survived to begin with! It is so true, if there is someway to get hung up or hurt, it seems these finches will find it. Hoping for a quick recovery for him.

He is SO much better today I can't believe it!! It just goes to show you how resilient these little birds are.
Maybe he is just an alternative finch and wanted a facial piercing to impress the ladies :/
Here is a picture of him - he's actually perching and flying around now.

And here is a picture of the wound itself - I do not see any inflammation at all or any signs of infection. It looks a little yellow but I think that is from the tea I'm using on it as an anti-septic. It's also greasy looking from a salve I put on it after the tea :/
