droopy wing

Post by dfcauley » Sun Aug 02, 2009 3:56 pm

Now that I have looked more closely I can see that my new fire finch has a wing problem. One of his wings droops down by his side.
He is flying much better today than yesterday..... but..... I was wondering if anyone else has had a bird like this and if there is any chance of recovery from it.

Hi, I have a female cutthroat that has a wing just like that. I've had her for over a year and there has been no change in the condition. However she is able to function and fly normally.

Sorry I don't know what his problem could be but it's good that he's flying better! I didn't know you got new Fire Finches - congratulations and good luck breeding them - you can do it!! =D>
