hehehe,
You gave me suck a chukkle with that story vetbridge!
anyhow it has been a long long time,... a lo has happened.
The Mannakin's were evicted, there are free now but they have build 5 nests
in the computer room alone, on the outsides of the screens and in between the window panes. I have on the entire house now, like 10 nesting pairs at least.
I wanted something more domestic, so I went out to purchase a pair of gouldians, (love the colors). BUT, they only had two when I went and they had a cage chok full of yellow and peach canaries. One started singing his heart out like a so I said enough, I am taking him!
His name is singer, ( of course) and between him and the female I brought home with him, I now have 7 canaries OUCH, so I now have everyone in separate cages.
Glad to be back, and I will stay tunned to any canary talk

She slowly, clearly enunciated "Vod-ka". She asked how I wanted my vodka, but I couldn't come up with the word "ice", so I said, "frio. muy, muy frio". She understood and got a chuckle out of the whole thing.
