Was at the grocery store last night and saw Alf Alfa Sprouts. Everyone on here mentions how much their birds love sprouts but I am not a green thumb and never had the space to grow any seeds. So I figured, what the heck, lets get some alf alfa sprouts, if they dont like it, i can mix it up with some guacamole and have a yummy veggie sammich.
Just wanted to ask if the alf alfa sprouts are ok to feed my finches and if anyone ever used them before.

Re: Alf Alfa Sprouts
I have never tried alfafa sprouts. But my fids do enjoy brocolli sprouts. Personally I can't see there being much of a difference. I do rinse them though, just in case.

Re: Alf Alfa Sprouts
I just found the answer, it says its ok in moderation. I should have checked the FIC first. I will throw a few sprouts in tomorrow and see what happens.
