Super :D I love it. I also think adding the bars on the side for the water tubes was a good idea.
I love original one of a kind creations. Your vision and Hubby's abilities worked well together. I can't believe all this came about... along with those fabulous looking gouldians... at the same time.
Aren't we blessed to have such wonderful things to look at, care for, and share.
Please let Hubby know how much we all appreciate him for being such a wonderful bird provider :D

Thanks so much all!!! I am thrilled beyond belief. I can sit on my couch and watch the birdies, and they look very happy. They do laps around the flight :) I ordered this soda bottle feeder but I only ordered one because I thought it would be one flight so right now it's in with the bachelor boys. They are having a ball with it, and flying around it from perch to perch. Sooo cute!

In the meantime, downstairs, I have Jinx my Pastel and Daisy my BH normal hen set up. Today, they've been in and out of one of the nests. Before they were both inside so keep your fingers crossed :))

The 4ft flight was painted to match my other flights and a new door was added. I have my new OH hen and 2 societies in there. Unfortunately, I'm having problems posting pics but I'm loving my new little bird room. :)

I forgot to mention. The only glitch with these flights is the larger doors. I've had a few escapees. Thankfully, they are in a small room and with the door closed it isn't too bad to catch them up. Today went well, but the last few days at least one got out ;( It's going to be hard catching them up also. Maybe we should have added two doors, but I think it's just the size, the bigger the flight the harder it is. Oh well, I can live with these two problems, as long as my birds are happy ;)

Sure is a really nice aviary. As soon as we finally get everything moved I am on that list for new ones. Hubby has already decided that he wants his birds in there too! I have a pair of canaries. I think they may need their own when that time comes. They will want their "own" space like they have now. My biggest fear is about to happen. I have 6 nests with 6 eggs each in them. Goulds of course. I am terrified that they will just desert. I don't know if my 6 societies and spices will do it all.

Fingers crossed.........

Maybe if they hurry up and hatch........ mom and dad will hear begging and feed feed feed so I don't have to......
Goulds, Stars, Societies,Owls, Gold Breasts, OC Waxbills, 3 Canaries, 1 Rott, 1 Lab/Shepard, 1 Lab/ Setter AND 1 single 13 yr old to whom is the light of my life! We have 2 Lop bunnies too!
