Cranberry juice.

When I owned my Gray and he was very ill, we had trouble getting him to take his Baytril. We tried in all kinds of food, yogurt. I came up with the idea of giving cranberry juice to him in a tablespoon, I laced it with his meds. He loved it and lapped it up.

I asked my avian vet about this and she thought it was a great idea, healthy. I used Ocean Spray Cranberry (don't use diet I think it has artificial sweetners in it). I tried to pick one that did not contain grape juice since it is very concentrated in sugars and if he spilt it the dogs would not get sick if they got to it before I could clean it up.

I wonder if we can give a little to our finches in their water. Mind you this is a big bird compared to little tiny finches, just curious what is your take on this?
