Feeding Live Foods
How does everyone feed live foods to their birds?
Poultry Science/ Avian Biology Student
1 Red Factor Canary Pair, 1 Lady Gouldian , 1 Zebra Pair, several Societies, and a 2 Diamond Doves
Numerous Chickens, Ducks, Guineas, Quail, Turkeys, and Pheasants

I feed mini mealworms in a shallow plastic tray.
Walk-in aviary with Waxbills (6 Cordon Bleu, 3 Orange Cheek, 3 Black-rumped, 1 Lavender, ), 1 European Goldfinch, 4 Gouldians, 2 Spice Finches, 6 Owl Finches, 4 Budgies and 2 male Button Quail.
I also have 2 parrotlets, 3 dogs, 1 snake and 3 freshwater fishtanks.

I feed mini mealworms. Now cut in half, beetle infestation in the house you know.

I just tried canned meal worms and canned cricket..they loved the meal worms but the crickets even though they were small they refused. I usually put it in a shallow dish on the bottom of the cage. The owls go for live or canned.
The dried crickets I may chop up and add to veggies or how about an egg bug veggie quiche for birds?
