Society Finch #3 Arrives

Post by Marcos » Fri Sep 11, 2009 11:07 pm

Thanks to the advise of all of you, I decided to take the other society my friend offered me. He is a cute guy. He looks like he has a mask on.

I think he is a male, because I hear his song. I sure hope I am not wrong. Oh well, pic are below.

He is a cutie. If he is singing, it's a male, as only the males sing with Societies.

Thanks Sally. Yep, I would bet the barn he is a male and that is because I heard him singing. I sat in my friends house listing to his 14 or 15 society finches for about 30 minutes before I finally concluded that this was in fact a male. I was right with the first two so I have to believe I was right this time as well. The society song is very clear and unique so it's pretty easy to figure out

Thanks everyone.

Yea....I thought he looked like a bandit too. The mask over the eyes kind of caught my attention. I just hope that as he grows older that more coloring does not come out, and thus remove his maks
