Newest addition - Gouldian

Post by atarasi » Mon Sep 21, 2009 12:35 am

Went to the bird mart yesterday in hopes of finding a red headed cock for the only red headed Gouldian I currently have. No luck. All I could find were normals that were a little too plain.

Came across a dilute that's never really interested me before until now. He is possibly split to blue. The breeder swears he had a blue split band indicating split to blue, but it must have fallen off so he doesn't know for 100% certainty.

Very Hansome. I love the Orange head dilutes :D Several of my last handfeds will look like this...just like their daddy. I love that color.

Wonderful looking bird. Good buy. Let us know what he produces as he is very handsome. LG's are becoming more and more enticing to me.
