I was going through kijiji and saw this gould for sale. Just seems to me or am I wrong that his feathering seems to be really off. The other off thing is the price $290.00 incl. the cage which is only 20 x 16.

That poor thing needs it's nails clipped. The feathers looked stressed a bit.

Feathers do look a little out of sorts...however the cage is rather nicely decorated. Still very pricey.

1 pair of Cut-Throats
1st pair CFW Male (Kane) and Normal Female (Belle) + 5 eggs
2nd pair Normal Male?(Nerian) + 1 CFW female (Zuri)
1 Female Society-Butterscotch

Looks like he is finishing a moult. Strange the way his yellow belly feathers lay in lines like that. Otherwise normal green Gouldians go for around $70 - $80 around here and to me that cage is not worth $210 - $220. I'd rather get a shorter and wider cage. If you like the bird, see if they will sell the bird and cage separately... after you check the age of the bird of course.

Liz is apparently the winner. I just checked the picture again and enlargened it. This little one is probably just finishing his first molt, he has a red band which means that he is one of this years birds.
But still way to expensive, she doesn't want to sell just the bird, it is the only one that she has and she doesn't want to have to go through the trouble of selling the cage separately....
