So cute!!! I love to watch my owls preen . They are too adorable the way they hold their little heads back and enjoy.

The male dotes on the female. This pair is the most affectionate couple put of all the finches.

(I really need to name my birds. It took 2 weeks to name Louey, the lovebird. His name was Lucy until we found out she was a he)

Thank you. I love decorating, I have boxes of flowers and plants from Pier 1 and Michael's. When I had Parrotlets their cages where full of toys and things they can shred. I liked making up their cages for play but I love doing up the finch cages more.

Thanks earlybird and Candace! The owls are so cute, I can't wait until they give me little owls.

Earlybird....You'll like the Cordons. They are active and have a pretty song. Mine are hardy eaters, I think because they are more active than some of the other finches.

Candace he was one of the smallest males, he had the longest tail and big red cheeks, not to mention his pretty blue color.

Thank you, it was one of my favorite ones to set up, love the red and the branches.

Today the male went into the box for the first time. My desk is not far from their cage, I can see him coaxing the female in. That is so cool. Made my day...that and getting a new living room set!!!!! It is the little things in life that make it good!

Oh...they are both in the keet box, that is so neat! =D> =D> I put a bowl of cocofiber and dried grass on the bottom of the cage for them.

Cindy
Awesome pictures of your birds. Your daughter did a great job. I saw some of the shafttail at the show on Saturday. They are going way up top on my want list. Thanks for sharing the pics.
