That last photo could have the caption, "Will you get
AWAY with that camera?!"
Or it could say, "Bite Me". heh heh heh

I just got a new camera

so the last 3 pics were taken with it. Its a Nikon D40. All the other pics I've posted were taken with a point and shoot, Olympus Stylus 300. I'm just starting to learn about SLR cameras, so hopefully I'll be able to take some cool pix with it! It's really exciting! Even if I only take pictures of my birds.

They make great test subjects!

Isn't Bean the one that gets "basil-beak"??
I love that photo of the two light colored finches - the "ahhh, that's the spot" photo!
You inspire me to try to get photos of my little friends!

lol it's good to see that link is passing down his feisty attitude! You'll be able to know whose chicks they are just by looking at their little faces, nevermind their bands
I wish I had an SLR! I begged my mom to give me hers, even though it's regular not digital, but she won't let me have it. I have a point and shoot and the darn thing focusses on the bars of the cage more often than not lol. You should be able to take some really fabulous shots (well even more fabulous than you are already) when you get familiar with the camera.

Yes, Bean is the one that gets Basil Beak.

Strange things are happening in there! Lynx and Pixie are starting to build a new nest. Bean has taken over feeding the babies, and I saw one of the babies feeding one of its siblings. Here is the new nest in a different corner where Lynx probably thought I couldn't take any pictures of him....heh heh heh!
Bath time!!!
Thats mine, I found it first!!! (hmmm, I think Lynxie is looking a little bald)
