Shaftails and Goudians together

I have been noticing on the forum that a lot of people here have there shaftails and gouldians living and even breeding in the same flight. I was just wondering how peaceful they live together being as how due to the information that I read on the FIC I separated mine into different levels and am now wondering if this was really necessary :?:

Janine,
This is just my experience, but I have no issues with housing them together...even while breeding at the same time(now).
I do keep them in a relatively large aviary,though(10'w x 3'd x 7'h).
