Mike Fidler's Soft Food sample

Post by atarasi » Tue Oct 27, 2009 11:22 pm

I placed an order online from www.fabulousfinch.com for some of the Mike Fidler's Molting and Breeding gouldian formula as well as the white sprouting seed mix. I received a free sample of the soft food. It's the 2.2 lb size, so it's not really a sample.

Anyone else receive a free big box? I remember asking them the last time I placed an order if they had a small size for me to try out. I guess they remembered me asking. What an awesome gesture!

They are great :) I received a free bag of the new Breeding/Molting blend mix, which worked out perfectly because this is generally what all my birds are on right now, and now I have a huge back-surplus of it :)

Let me know how it works for you, Bill knows all too well of the trials and tribulations I've gone through getting my birds to eat it. What seems to work the best is just lightly sprinkling it on the sprouts. Any more, and they won't touch it..

Tiffany,

I'm more than happy to share some with you. Let me know. 2 lbs is just going to be wasted with the 18 finches I currently have.

No I have a bag :) I bought some, I have plenty left because I'm only using a sprinkling here and there :\
I can't get them to eat any more than that unfortunately.. they are picky about it.
