Ant Egg ( the best natural food for finches)

this pure ant egg is feed to most of my cage birds.
about 1-1.5 grams per day for each bird.
they are selling about USD50/250g. a bit deer.....

Welcome to the forum, stanwong. By doing a search of your posts, I found you are in Hong Kong. It would be great if you could update your profile to show this--makes it easier for people to answer questions if they know where you are located.

That ant food looks great--don't know that I have seen the exact same thing available in the U.S. I know that the waxbills just love ant eggs, but yes, they tend to be a bit expensive.

seems to me that its dried ant eggs , and as said before its the best food bomb that the parents can feed the babies ,specialy the first week , i feed fresh ant eggs that i find in the woods , put them in the freezer and its plenty for the whole breeding season , fresh / frozen ones are always white and do look like little maggots :shock:
