I have two baby GB Waxbills that fledged. There may be more. How many do they usually have?

Congrats on the Goldbreast. These are some of my favorites...I love their little voices and peaceful nature. I don't know how many are normal but mine have between 2 and 5. Larger numbers with the first clutch and smaller numbers toward the end of the breeding season has been my experience.

Congrats on the fledglings! GBs are so tiny, they are adorable. The most I have had is 5 in a clutch, but that was only once. The least was 2.

Do Gold Breast build much of a nest? I offer nesting material and theey don't use it at all. they prefer a nest that the St Helena started and left when they were housed together.
