Hi Laura, welcome to the forum.

I began with Zebras too. They are such a good beginner bird and really give you a big bang for your buck.

I had planned on picking up a couple Spices yesterday while at the petshop, but of course they were out. Every other time I've been in there they have had plenty... but not this week!

The Owls are adorable aren't they? I have never seen them in person as none of the pet shops near me have ever had any that I'm aware of.

oooh, I love the owls, maybe someday I'll have some. The spices are really pretty too. How many will you get altogether?

I have had owls and zebras. Owls are nice to have because they are so pretty! However, they are really hard to tell apart. So if I were you, I would get the zebras since you can tell them apart, amd u are wanting to breed them. zebras are very easy to breed, but they will overdo it, so as their "mother" you need to monitor how many eggs the lay each time, etcl

oh I love owls! they're so cute and very comical to watch, when I get finches again I'm going to start with owls. Watch those zebras, they can be territorial and they breed like rabbits  It's nice that you've discovered finches, but where are our pictures?? What sort of parrots do you have? My b/f and I decided to rehome our finches in favour of a budgie b/c we don't have room for an aviary in our place and the finches were too much in the cage.
