Candace recommended Country Feathers to me, I will recommend them to you. I just bought a case of 4 for $126.00 free shipping. I got them in 3 days.

If you order from other companies that are lower in cost, check the shipping out first before ordering. In some cases the shipping costs as much as the cages depending on where they are coming from.

Define cheap :)

"Wholesale" pricing for the 30x18x18 breeding cages is considered about $30/cage.
PetCo sells them individually for about $65.

There are a few wholesale sites that sell them for about $119-$135 for a box of four, and that usually includes shipping.
Sometimes, though, to qualify for wholesale pricing on some sites you need to be able to provide a tax ID number, because technically wholesalers are selling to other businesses.

You can sometimes avoid this by going through Ebay, but then you could also end up paying nearly half the cost of the cages in shipping alone.

I am not certain, but I don't think Country Feathers requires a tax ID to purchase..

The best prices are at the fairs - how close are you to any of the TN fairs?

Yes, Country feathers will sell wholesale prices to the general public without a tax ID. That's why I always recommend them to the average hobby keeper  Best price I have found for those without the ID...and they are a sweet family run business with quality cages and quick service. Usually ships in 24 hours :D You must place wholesale orders by phone to get the discount price and you have to order at least 3 cases.(12 cages) If you want to buy just one case (4 cages) you can order on line with the price Cindy quoted. That price includes shipping and is still a good value.

Well a few years back I ordered 2, 24"x16"x16"h, cages from Morton Jones that were like 18.00 each? Then shipping was only a few bucks. Now cages this size are 30 or 40 dollars plus expensive shipping. I cannot believe how much more expensive they are now. Unfortunately, Morton Jones no longer really sells cages.
I'm wanting 3, 24"x16"x16"h, cages and a stand. It costs so much more than I was expecting though. I guess I will have to start saving up and just be very very patient.

Meagan

I used to pay 11 to 13 per cage, inflation!!!!

Bill I went to Everything Birds in Oldsmar this afternoon. I picked up a 30x18wx36h, it was a little more than one of the on line sites but adding shipping it worked out to about the same.

I had not been there for a while, HQ cages, Roudybush, cups toys everything imaginable. I'm hooked.

She had gouldians there that I would have taken home in a heartbeat. A normal green black head, blue black head and a yellow red head. (Don't know my terms, abbreviations) but the green sang and sang. My daughter and I fell in love with them.

Thank you for reminding me about that spot for supplies. She has things you can order on line but the store is huge. There was a finch outdoor aviary that would have been a keeper!!!
