They also eat constantly - I didn't know tiny birds could eat so much. My RCs on the other hand barely eat enough to stay alive, so it seems. I wouldn't trade my socs for anything tho, they are so friendly (so long as hands are out of the cage) and interact so much that I think they are fascinating to watch. I talk to them and they come right up to my face (whic is about 2" from the cage) They are great beginners birds. I will always have at least one pair.Society droppings
