Sorry to hear your chick has died. What type of finches are they?

I wish I could help, but it is impossible to say why your chick died.
It is entirely possible that the parents had stopped feeding before he was able to feed himself. Did you offer the fledgling spray millet along with other soft foods?

he was still in the nest and the his feather were growing and the parents were feeding until the day before, but then I spend all the day out of my home and all my house were close windows and everything, so it was dark, I think that the parents thinked that it was night so they dont feed him all the day only once I heard the baby sound.

At 21 days I would have expected the chick to have left the nest and be eating some on its own. Of course it would have still needed additional feedings from the parents. It's unfortunate you had to be away from home.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Don't give. I didn't and now I have 7 healthy zebras, I wish you all the luck.

Zebra finches are usually fully feathered and fledge about 2 weeks after hatching, so that baby was probably way less than 21 days. If it was 21 days, then something was wrong, and there is nothing you could have done. I don't think it was the fact that the house was dark that was the problem.
Zebras are such prolific breeders, that having only 1 egg hatch makes me think they are very young parents. They will get the hang of it. With 3 pairs of Zebras, you will have more babies than you dreamed possible!
