hope this works... Finch pics...

Post by adiekaty » Sat Jan 16, 2010 12:38 pm

i uploaded to photobucket... I hope this works..

The pics are the Goulds.. coloring up nicely. I think I have 4 boys and 2 girls...
The Java's are laying eggs again. Moved the magpie's from there so Java's could be alone...

Society babies started hatching yesterday, and the Lovebirds are feeding their 5 babies 24/7 it seems. 2 babies are Lutino, gorgeous yellow, with red eyes. (not my fav) but not too common either.
Enjoy!
Wish the weather was better so everyone could go back out in the aviary!!!

UGH.... FILES ARE TOO BIG... tired of trying this... What am i doing wrong?

If you are working with Photoshop I found that resizing the image to the size 340 works well and is accepted. Anything bigger would not take.

Have you tried just attaching the photo at the end of your post? When you do your message, down at the bottom is a place for attachments. Browse your computer for the photo you want, click on open, click on attach the file button, and it should upload. I thought the forum was set to resize the photos automatically. If they are that large, have you tried resetting the size on your camera? My camera was taking photos that took too long to load in the computer, and I found that I could resize them before taking them.

thanks for the help everyone... Still learning all this... I kept resizing... Still wouldn't let me... I was trying to do the whole file, instead of one by one. But even the one by one from the computer was too large...

poohbear is saving the day.... :)
I emailed my pics to him, and he is putting them on here for me!!!

How nice is that? That made my day, although now I wish my photos were better... LOL!
They are just quick pics I took trying to get the coloring of the Goulds. Nothing like what usually gets posted on here... but it's a start...

Hope you enjoy my "so-so" photos...

Love your little birds..especially the lovebirds. Their babies are so sweet. I also have a Creamino lovebird named Louey. He is quiet a character and a talker.
