Hi, I live in Michigan and was wondering if anyone knows if Oak tree branches are ok or safe to put in a bird cage for Gouldians?

Most site will say they are unsafe due to toxins that may be released.
I have used pin oak but only well dried branches. Never had a problem.

Do you happen to have any willow around? That is what I use as we have lots of it on our property.
