Are we supposed to be guessing? Looks like a house finch or purple finch, colors would help.

I agree with debbie...housefinch. Add a little red to the top of the head and bib area.

Maybe a White Throated Sparrow?

Emberiza citrinella, Yellow Hammer is my gess..

(I think its Yellow Hammer in english.. or maybe European Yellow Hammer, in Swedish its "Gulsparv" but the latin name is the same al ower the world offcourse :D )

wery nice bird, we have them in my backyard.. they sing wery funny.. sounds like they know how to count

But not allowed to have in the bird hobby in Sweden, no european birds is allowed.
