That wall is finished. We put a wide window there and we are now entering through one of the front windows to finish up.

I never want to have a sanding project again! I'm so over sanding the wood I could scream and as of today I am done - I'm doing no more! Tomorrow I clear coat all the wood framing for the aviaries. Then touch up the walls since my husband doesn't cooperate with me and thinks there is a "painter" to touch up behind him. I can't wait until this project is done. The wire will arrive next week and that is the last of "building" anything and then I can move onto the decorating.

I hope so! I've worked so hard and long on this project as time allowed that it is worthy of humans to live in this house. I almost don't want to put the birds in there to make it messy! :-s

I'm sure it will be totally worth it and I can't wait to see the finished product :)

Hopefully it won't create too much extra work cleaning wise if the birds that would ordinarily create their mess in one place are just being moved to a new place :D

I have felt the same way. I have been so tempted to not use it for birds.... too pretty....

How funny--both Donna and Misty not sure they want to use their new spaces for birds. Of course, both aviaries ARE almost too pretty to mess up with bird poop! Can't wait to see both of them finished.

Well we got the wire today finally (sigh) but not a happy camper at the moment. Many pieces were damaged because of the packaging from the vendor. So.... I raised holy crap with the vendor today while still at the freight company standing on their docks. I was ready to refuse the whole order!

I have lots of pictures with wire still on pallet under the straps they used and many more pictures of damage after unpacking them and inspecting each piece. The vendor assured me the damaged pieces would be replaced. I hope to have it all settled tomorrow now that I know exactly what needs to be replaced. ](*,)

How frustrating, to have everything get held up. Hope you get it worked out soon with the vendor so you can get your building finished.

I just talked to the vendor and they are sending the new / replacement pieces out today or tomorrow at the latest. This time they are coming by Fedex and will be wrapped up and packaged correctly (I hope).

would have hated to be the person whom you were talking to about the damaged wire Misty, there is nothing worse than having to deal with an irate woman, even worse when she is right [-X
give them hell is all I can say, wonder how many times this has happened and the buyer has said nothing
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.

I really appreciated that the vendor didn't argue with me regarding any of it - which most will get completely defensive and they didn't do that. It was what it was - no arguing for once. :-s
