It has been a goal for the last 3 day....This afternoon for sure!!!!

Hi Cindy,

I would love to hear them!!

I am going to do the same with mine (eventually) and will be working on improving the song structure with canarys. I want to produce sonograms for analysis etc but because they are in my bird room they go mute when I enter (I can hear them from outside). When I had a pair in the aviary they sung all day despite garden activity and once it warms up I plan to have some outside again. I am looking for a wireless mic that I can plug straight into my PC with some sonogram software etc for the bird room so I can record/ analyze there progress (the chicks)

. But I am waiting for a bargain on e-bay

Ian, we are getting the video camera out that has a remote so I can set iup and turn it on from the other room. They stop if they see any movement. They started singing and was about to turn the regular camera on and someone came home and they stopped. I have tried 6 times today.

I'll get there!!!

By the way, the little chirping they do my lovebird answers from the other room!!!! A bit challenging when recording.

He is going full tilt and singing up a storm and the camera is recording it...now to figure out how to get it onto youtube!!!!!

We are having some trouble getting to transfer from the camera video portion onto the main computer...so we are going to do this again the old fashion way with a video camera!

Yeah, they sure do have a nice song. Mine doesn't have a specific time he likes to sing. Usually playing some music, especially if it's a little loud will encourage him to sing. Dont forget the lettuce. For my GS lettuce is the most favorite thing in the world. If not lettuce, he likes cucumbers and apples.
