Double flight

Post by carcoozie » Tue Apr 20, 2010 7:54 am

Thinking ahead - I have read that some of you keep your males and females seperate except for during breeding and keep them in same-sex flights at the other times.
Could I use a double flight for this (like the HQ?) with the divider in - or do they have to be in seperate rooms/not able to see each other?

Thanks!

Mine are all separated by gender except when they are breeding. They are always in one birdroom - almost 100 finches in there (and 4 parrots).

Soooo yes you could keep them in one cage with a divider to separate them.

If there was still too much shmoozing going on, you could always cover the divider, so they couldn't see each other.
