I am looking to redo my flight aviary. The room I built for the bird is pretty small 7' wide by 16' long by 8' high. I can either build a flight aviary that is 6' long by 5' wide by 7' high OR 9' long by 2.5' wide by 7' high.
Which flight cage is better? I am looking to house around 14 - 20 birds, 10 gouldians and 4 canaries and add more birds in the future.
Thanks for your advice.

Re: Aviary size
Personally.... I think both would be great. I would probably choose the longer one though.

Re: Aviary size
The room you had was bigger than either of those flights--why wouldn't you keep that? Or if you can build both in that space, then it would give you a way to separate some of the birds. But I agree with Donna, I would go as long and as big as you can.
