I don't think Carol was specifically waiting just for blues, I just think she was curious if you had any available; and we certainly both need healthy unrelated blue stock to our own.

But she said you aren't selling any of yours - but I thought you had sold some blues to a gentleman from up north somewhere, so I thought maybe they were from that stock of birds you purchase - but I wasn't sure. Maybe those were the only ones you were selling and someone smart snatched them up fast :)

We just really need new blood, and I need hens like a junky needs crack
I thought we were waiting on birds to finish coloring out.. or to hear back about if we could just ship the box down to you or not if you have birds ready to go.
I just used it to ship birds up to Lainey, though, so I'd have to pay her to ship it back to me first or build another (which I can do).

I think Carol does want some blues or split to blues, along with some WB and Lilac Breast. I did sell one of my blue hens to the Northern man along with a BH normal male and A BH normal Hen. I sell easily when you come to the aviary with money and a cage

I kept most of my last years blues and paired them with some of my hens and some of the ones I got in February. On eggs now :D Even the pretty hen ...she is on 7 eggs as of yesterday :D

Also this pair Oh lilac and RH purple/lilac GB hen are making some beautiful chicks :D

I have many more but these I think you may have a special interest in :D

I set up most of my mature hens(blues and yellows) with the new males that I got in Feb. But I have many more coloring up. I just wasn't comfortable with shipping as it seems less stressful to sell at fairs. But I am getting more comfortable with the idea of packing them in boxes and flying them. Though it is too hot at this time. Also Now Hubby sees the market and any birds not breeding or spoken for and colored out he wants me to take them to the fairs and sell. Can't blame him there.... I have over 200 gouldians and they eat alot. Also takes up a lot of my time................

Anyway I will work on posting some pics on my site (been waiting to finish the rotation of cages... just ordered 12 more 30" breeding cages to redo the breeding bird shelf in the bird room. I took the old cages and hooked them together for 5' flights on the balcony..... so new pics are coming........... maybe from there we can get some concrete plans and work on deposits and plans to ship once the temperature allows...though that may be fall :? I will check to see about nightime flights. This new airport should have more direct flights now. What is the airport that you would want them delivered to? I can always order one of those shipping crates or build one. I had just hoped that you would have posted a pic of the one you built to give me an idea since you said you really liked the design. I can always also modify a kennel cab carrier. :D
