I present to you the Orange-eared/Red-cheeked/Confused Waxbills... All five of them

Seriously though, I don't promote hybrids. Turns out my two 'pairs' of red-eared's were in fact one male and three hens. When I then set up a new pair of orange-cheeks, the young male paired up with the wrong hen. All red-eared's have since been sold but I'm not quite sure what I will do with this lot. They could be fertile. It has been fascinating watching them color up though. They still have a while to go yet and I can't wait to see the end results.
The love birds

Ps, apologies for being so quiet on the forum, it's been a busy couple of months. Additional studies through work is keeping me occupied and we sadly had to say goodbye to my Great Dane just over two months ago. We have subsequently gotten two puppies that are keeping us on our toes (forgotten how much work they can be!). The birds are all doing great and going strong
