Cool set up. My birds eat the seed that sprouts in my yard from bird seed I throw for the wild birds. I don't use any pesticides in the yard and they eat up all the sprouts and love it more than romaine or other store bought green leaf.

From the looks of it the finches seem to like having the sprouted seed.

Wheat grass has always been one of my birds favorites. I'm sure they will have it gone in no time.

I grow this in pots for my birds all the time. They have it gone in no time also... all of the birds LOVE it.
You can usually purchase it cheaper if you have some feed store near you. I buy five pounds at a time of the seed.
