Spice Finch?
I've seen a few juvie spice finches at petsmart, might get one or two. Does any body keep/breed these? I would like some info on them. I'm going to need more cages!

Re: Spice Finch?
I have 2 hens. I love them. Very quiet and they get along geat with my zebra hens. I got mine from PetSmart also. I got my first one for free because she only has one leg. They said she was there 2 months and nobody every noticed it
I had to get the second so she could have a friend

One of my favorites also. They are quiet and peaceful but like space and the bigger the flights the better. They also like a colony environment where they can choose their own mates. I foolishly traded mine a while back and hope to get more. I miss having them.

How much were they asking for them?

Re: Spice Finch?
I have a Spice pair and one juvenile from last years's first clutch. They are now sitting on three eggs due the first week of February. I love to watch them. Mine enjoy the larger flight, but for breeding, I have them in a smaller breeding cage.

Re: Spice Finch?
At PetSmart? That's below their regular price. They sell for around $25 and at the PetSmarts around here they sell them for 29.99 and then go on sale for aroun $20.99 or your $21.

Re: Spice Finch?
Here they are always 21 if they have them in stock, but since they are "societies" to the employees I can get them for 20.
