Nah.... it's just me cant helping myself.

back to this finch hobby again and voila! look what I did!
actually I still make mistake by mistake. (Those pics actually was taken a week ago, but I cant post it - I have problem with my photobucket.

)
just a few days after the pics were taken, those shafttail are not as close as in the pics. they developed into 2 pairs, but one male is dominating and chase other male, made him cornered at one spot of my aviary. surprisingly this male wont disturb any other species even if they are as close as one foot to its nest.
same behavior also seen on zebra (4) and strawberry pairs (3), though it's not as intensive as the shafttail.
(later I read a lot from e-finch, singing wing aviary etc, they always suggested never to put more than one pair in one flight/aviary) duh!
the only pair that lives happily is just my stars (one pair), almost never chase any other.
so I guess, I need to move the non-dominant pair from that aviary to a 3ft cage. I want this pair will also breed without being disturb by others, especially from its own kind. and I'm thinkging of build a safe trap to remove them rather than chasing them with (sort of) butterfly net (of course this also will make me confuse which specimens must be caught, make a chaos of everything inside) lol.
