He's really adorable and extremely active, even caught him dancing to his parents a few times already. I read that the first molt is very stressful but it doesn't seem to bother him - not yet anyway - and it's really fun noticing new brighter feathers everyday!
Anyway, while cleaning yesterday I peaked into the nest and there were two chicks and two unhatched eggs - one of the chicks is bigger than the other and has a full crop so it seems they're still doing a great job!
I don't mind if the remaining eggs don't hatch, I'd be happy with just two this time. I built a 5 ft flight cage for my goulds to rest in and all of them will move into it once this clutch is weaned.
