Baldy's feathers are still a bit tired but she's going through a great feather growth spurt. Here you can see...

Mel's back feathers are beautiful and he has really become tidy and sleek. His tail is getting longer and all in all he's a very pretty bird.

This red head girl is also one I rescued. She's still a bit scruffy too and has lost some head feathers but they're all in different stages of recovery and feather growth.

This is Mel and Baldy from the back, you can see she has a little further to go yet.

Mel on the left, then Baldy, the same red head girl and the girl on the far right is the female I bought with her pastel mate. Debbie suggested they had been breeding all last year and she was tired so these guys are in rest hence her head feathers are also going. She's not showing any signs of growth yet either but theres no hurry, these guys are all on holiday. The mate is fine and looking stunning but I can see these two are well bonded and I have seen him hop and sing to her so they're not being split up any time soon!

One last one of the couple....lookat the blue on his back. He's gorgeous!

I keep monitoring it but I am still concerned about their feet. You can see they are crusty and appear dry...still! Not all of them have it but Mel and Baldy do. I keep a permanent bowl of water in there for baths and they've all had a good dose of Scatt. Perhaps it's just the way they are but I'm not convinced. They don't appear sore or uncomfortable and none of them are pecking or having a go at their feet. Any thoughts?
