First day out.
Hi all, passing by the societies cage today I noticed this little guy. He is 21 days today. He has four siblings in the nest. He can't quite fly yet and I'm thinking he came out too soon. I will watch that mom and dad are feeding him and if by tonight he hasn't returned to the nest I will put it back in.

Such a sweet little fawn colored baby. Is he eating or drinking on his own yet?

Spreckles
Nowhere near eating on his own yet. When his siblings started begging for food I wanted to be sure he didn't miss out so I put him back in the nest. I don't think he's quite ready yet to be out.

Sometimes there will be one brave one that comes out a day or two before the others, like they are scouting out things for the rest. They usually go back in the nest and stay for another day or so.
