First day out.

Post by kyle » Mon May 02, 2016 3:51 pm

Hi all, passing by the societies cage today I noticed this little guy. He is 21 days today. He has four siblings in the nest. He can't quite fly yet and I'm thinking he came out too soon. I will watch that mom and dad are feeding him and if by tonight he hasn't returned to the nest I will put it back in. :D

Such a sweet little fawn colored baby. Is he eating or drinking on his own yet?

Nowhere near eating on his own yet. When his siblings started begging for food I wanted to be sure he didn't miss out so I put him back in the nest. I don't think he's quite ready yet to be out. :D

Sometimes there will be one brave one that comes out a day or two before the others, like they are scouting out things for the rest. They usually go back in the nest and stay for another day or so.

Adorable baby.
I imagine he'll appreciate being put back in the nest for another day or two.
