Well I grated eggs and carrots and everyone got a good helping.
The owls like always dove right in. As did the parent zebras and the chicks from the first clutch. The chicks from the second clutch had a discussion about it while sitting on the nest box, now they are hiding in their canary nest peeking out!
The shaftail parents and new fledglings are at the top of the cage discussing it but not going near it. Their offspring from the first clutch like it. The St. Helena like it.
The Red Headed finches ignore it and went for the seed and dried egg food.
The RCCBs and Gold Breast are playing statue from the highest perch. Societies like it..they eat anything.
I think the thing that is good is the owls, both pairs eat mealies, dried egg food mix, hard boiled eggs and veggies. They just are not as fussy. Same with the zebras.
